In rare cases of life-threatening emergencies, ACKO may consider a reimbursement claim only up to the point of stabilization of the patient’s condition. You must notify ACKO immediately at the time of admission for the case to be reviewed.

Note: The exclusion list is reviewed and updated from time to time. We recommend checking it before any planned hospital visit.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Why are some hospitals excluded from ACKO’s network?

Hospitals may be excluded due to quality concerns, pricing issues, past claim experiences, or internal evaluations. We regularly review these based on multiple factors to ensure the best care and service standards.

2. Can I still get treated at an excluded hospital?

Yes, but ACKO won’t be able to cover the costs — neither through cashless nor reimbursement — unless it’s a life-threatening emergency that qualifies for review.

3. Will ACKO cover emergencies at excluded hospitals?

In case of a medical emergency, please notify ACKO right away. If the hospital is excluded, only expenses incurred until the patient is stabilised may be considered for reimbursement.

4. How do I check if a hospital is excluded?

You can check the most updated exclusion list here. You can further filter by your location or pin code:

5. Is the exclusion list permanent?

No. This list isn’t fixed — it may change based on regular reviews. Always check the latest list before any planned treatment.
