A good filler food, bhindi or okra not only curbs hunger but also keeps your kiddo from tiring up. It also strengthens the immunity against severalconditions. Being rich in vitamins A, C , and K. It helps fortify bones while also improving the eyesight. Stuffed Bhindi is a dish, which is enriched with the goodness of okra. It takes less time to prepare and is healthy to consume. If you want to become okra fan you should try this recipe once and experience the magic for yourself.

Ingredients to make Stuffed Bhindi:

Ladies finger (okra)-500 gm, oil-3 tbsp, tomato- 1 large, cumin seeds-1 tbsp, salt-to taste and coriander leaves-few For filling-Rice flour-½ cup, chilli powder-1/4 tsp and salt-1/4 tsp

Steps to make Stuffed Bhindi:

1. Firstly, in a small mixing bowl, take all the ingredients listed in for stuffing. Crumble, mix, and keep aside.

2. Slit the bhindi and stuff the prepared spice mix powder. Keep all the stuffed bhindi aside.

3. Heat oil in a large kadai and splutter cumin seeds. Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Sauté for 5 minutes.

4. Further, place the stuffed bhindi into the kadai. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes.

5. Sauté in between till the bhindis get cooked completely.

Finally, serve the Stuffed Bhindi with rice or roti.
