These Sugar Coated Churros are a wonderful dish that is loaded with carbohydrates to give lots of energy.

1/2 cup sugar, 1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1 cup water, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil, oil for deep frying, 1 cup flour
1. Combine 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.
2. In a pan over medium heat, whisk together the water, 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Bring the mixture to a boil then remove it from the heat.
3. Stir in the flour, mixing until it forms a ball. Transfer the dough to a piping bag.
4. Heat frying oil in large pan. Pipe the dough into the oil to a length of about 4 inches, then cut it so it releases into the oil. Fry until golden brown.
Roll churros in the cinnamon-sugar mixture and serve hot. These Sugar Coated Churros are the perfect treat.
